OUR MISSION

Caritas Creek's purpose is to help young people discover the connection between all living things; to build bridges between diverse socioeconomic and ethnic groups; and to foster in youth a deeper connection to the natural environment, to self, to the Spirit of Love, and to community.

Our Role

Caritas Creek was founded in 1975, and spent 35 years creating the curriculum, facilitating and operating our program. 

 

Our role is to:

​

 

* License our environmental education program to qualified organizations, and specifically CCCYO. 

​

* Raise funds to support the growth and diversity of students at the Caritas Creek program as well as CYO Summer Camp at CCCYO.

​

* Validate and ensure consistent program quality and alignment to our mission.

​

* Award financial aid in the form of camperships to families and schools who otherwise would not be able to afford to participate. 

Fundraising

At Caritas Creek, our goal to ensure the Caritas Creek education is affordable and accessible to students of all income levels, and youth who would like to attend the environmental school and summer camp.

You can attend the CYO Camp and Caritas Creek Alumni Foundation events throughout the year.
