Unified At Last
The Caritas Creek Board of Directors and the CYO Camp Alumni Advisory Group are now unified in leadership and purpose!
Since 1975, Caritas Creek has operated as a 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to fostering a deeper connection between youth, the natural environment, and the Divine Spirit.
For decades, our organization, led by the Caritas Creek Board of Directors, hosted community building and fundraising events to ensure all children have access to the Caritas Creek at CYO Camp's transformative programs.
The CYO Camp Alumni Advisory group organized in 2011, guided by the mission to change the world, one child at a time, and directing fundraising efforts towards getting kids to camp, while also making camp accessible to camp alumni with work weekends, alumni picnics and days, and Golf Day.
Our efforts were clearly aligned.
In 2023, we the Caritas Creek board of directors, unified our leadership with the CYO Alumni Advisory Group to deepen our collective impact.
Two Missions, One Goal
By bringing these groups together, we have strengthened our dual commitment:

Caritas Creek: Connecting youth to the SONG of Caritas (Self, Others, Nature, God), and ensuring access to the powerful spirit led environmental science program.

CYO Alumni Advisory: Empowering alumni and raising funds for summer camp scholarships—fondly known as "camperships."

Together, we ensure that every child, family, and school with a desire to attend any Caritas Creek at CYO Camp programs is afforded that opportunity.
By coming together as one team, we draw from a powerful alumni community spanning over 80 years of CYO Camp and 50 years of Caritas Creek- a network of collective strength to create lasting change. We are alumni in action, and as a leadership board, we are building the community that sustains us and the place we love.
